Eagle Lake Village Senior Living

We took over care of our mother after she’d been at Eagle Lake for a year. While communication can sometimes be hard living in a different state, EL is always responsive. She loves being there. It’s always clean, food is good and staff is friendly. Her room is actually large and she has a good level of privacy.

My mom lived at this facility for over 10 years. When she was having problems with water retention she was left with the water dripping off her legs. I happened to come by to visit and found her with a puddle of her fluid under her feet. She all ready had an abscess on the bottom of her foot and sitting in her fluids did not help at all.
I was told that the aides, because I don’t think they had real nurses, were not allowed to touch the residents. They weren’t even checking on them if they didn’t notice her.
At the end she died from an infection that went into her bone

They need to actually take care of people not say they are and dont

Very good care and excellent staff. Couldn’t be happier with how my mom was cared for while she was living there. She was very happy during her short stay.
