Shell Harbor is a brand new all-inclusive retirement community located in Rockledge, Florida, offering independent living for seniors aged 55 and up.
My mother has been a resident at shell harbor for almost 3 years. She has been very happy in her new home. She has made many new friends and loves the ambiance of shell harbor as well as the staff. The entire staff is very accomadating to the residence needs and always with a smile on their face. They always do their best to fulfill all special requests.
When I moved my mom to Florida, I took her to 10 independent living facilities, and shell harbor was the last one she looked at. As soon as she walked in and walked around, she told me this is it. The interior is very inviting and the concierge and activities director decorate to the nines for all holidays and special events.
I can mention so many staff by name for their helpfulness and kindness, but I will only name one at this time.
Mary the activity director is a go getter. She is always busy , organizing games or classes, driving the bus to lunch/dinner/theater/concert outings, running happy hour, setting up for special event dinners and booking acts or speakers to entertain the residence. She is an asset to the RLC communities and especially shell harbor.
I visit mom 3-4 times a week and participate in many of shell harbor events.
I have been asked many times if I am a resident. 😂. Nobody knows what the future holds, so I tell them, maybe someday.

Not enough time or space to write a review on this horriable so called resort style living at a price so high & standards so low. Good sales man he is that’s for sure. He gets them in with lies cuz nothing is what they tell you it is. They get them in there with there lies knowing these people are seniors & will be stuck because the cost of moving & how hard it is for seniors to move.
Shell Harbor is truly a place like no other! The location is gorgeous and always decorated to the nines! There are always so many events and activities going on that there is never a dull day here. There are even therapists, services, doctors, & a pharmacy that come on site to help provide a stress free life! Everyone really goes above and beyond to ensure the residents are living their best retirements possible.
