My friends husband was in this place for 3mons.he passed away this week at the hospital.
The hospice nurse checked his body and found several bed sores ,we went in to check on him to bring clean clothes and a Aid was cutting a man’s hair in his room..
If there’s any way to keep your loved ones home please, don’t put in this place !!!!!
Horrible! Run don’t walk!
I’m extremely disappointed in this nursing home. My family and I moved to the area from Dallas about a year ago and unfortunately, my dad’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis took a strong decline and we had no choice but to place him in a nursing home. A few weeks into his stay, the nursing staff and nursing director failed to acknowledge an untreated UTI that lead to a critical hospital stay due to my dad being so sedated on Xanax that he was too lethargic to tell anyone about his UTI. My dad went into renal failure and we almost lost him. My dad also escaped from the facility a few times. The supervision there is extremely poor. My mom and I visited 5 times a week. My mom cleaned my dad’s room everyday and showered my dad. The staff there were usually just standing around and doing the bare minimum. I witnessed some awful things that I’m traumatized by now. Lots of his belongings (even his wedding ring) was “misplaced “. If you have to put your loved one in the care of a nursing home, please do your research. I don’t wish this place on anyone. Please pray over this facility to see that they change their ways. It’s truly devastating.
Clean.. friendly.. lots of smiles
