My mother has been here for almost 2 years now. It was a hard decision taking her out of her home but Oakridge was the perfect place for her to move to. It’s small. It’s like a family because it’s a home environment and the staff is very attentive and friendly.. Mama has all her needs taken care of. She can have her hair done, be checked by a NP and have her meds ordered without having to make doctor visits, enjoy home cooked meals with dessert everyday with food from a grocery store and not institutional food, and enjoy companionship with the residents and the staff.
