Care Mountain is run by really nice people. My caregiver is nice. I only call her for 5 hours every day. It is not a franchise so owners are really involved. The owner personally helped me file paperwork for for LTC insurance reimbursement. They do all this within a day of invoicing. Never before have I got my reimbursement so quickly. I will recommend Care Mountain to anyone looking for a professionally run home health company.
My husband has advanced pulmonary fibrosis and is on supplemental oxygen. Our Caregivers from care mountain are very good with managing that, taking care of cleanliness (it reduces risk of infections), prepare meals and help him with medication reminders. They have great attention to detail and are with him when I am not around. Our nurse had suggested we talk to care mountain and I am glad we did. I am able to go to my job with much less stress so i am very thankful. Our families are in another country so it is good to have Care mountain’s support and we are very happy with their services.
My parents require care and support due to their health conditions. My mother has Alzheimer’s and my father is a stroke survivor with hearing loss. After his stroke, I moved back home to assist them, but managing their care while working became increasingly difficult. We hired Care Mountain to provide in-home care and companionship for my mother. This allowed my father to go for physical therapy and speech therapy sessions. The caregiver assigned to my mother was experienced in managing Alzheimer’s symptoms, including mood changes. She redirected Mom as needed and assistance to her in daily activities. Her compassion and kindness was really inspiring. With Care Mountain’s help we were able to get my father the rehab care he needed while leaving mom in good hands. Our parents live by themselves in Grapevine, TX. Care Mountain has been our partner for two years now, providing live in caregivers, and more recently speech therapy also for my Mom.
