  1. Check in staff wasn’t friendly. Process was slow. Elevators were slow outdated hotel. The rooms were nasty throw up was on the side of bed and floor. Food stains on the room service phone. Look like jelly on the table next to the bed. Bathroom door didn’t lock thin walls you could hear everything. Best this that it was connected to balls other than that. My first and last time staying there. Oh yeah you have to pay for parking which was 25.00 a night ridiculous. You pay before you enter they wanted it from the rip.

  2. The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City is, without question, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. This place is filthy, unsafe, and completely mismanaged. From the moment you arrive, it’s clear this place is in serious decline. The lobby and hallways are filled with homeless individuals just loitering inside the building. It doesn’t feel like a hotel—it feels like an abandoned property that’s still taking reservations.

The parking garage is literally falling apart, with crumbling concrete and clear signs of structural neglect. Only a few elevators work, which meant waiting up to an hour just to leave our floor—no exaggeration. And then there’s the real issue: security and safety. A violent fight broke out on our floor during our stay. There was blood all over the hallway, shouting, banging, and chaos that went on for hours. Hotel security didn’t intervene. In fact, when guests started threatening to call the police, security begged them not to, for reasons that remain completely unclear.

The rooms were disgusting—old, poorly maintained, dirty, and just plain gross. The outside of the hotel is just as bad, located in a rundown, sketchy part of the city that feels unsafe day or night. Check-in took an hour, and check-out another 40 minutes, due to incompetent and overwhelmed staff. Trying to get a refund was a joke—they lie about managers not being on-site, bounce you around, and play games to avoid responsibility.

Eventually, I got my money back, but it wasn’t easy—and honestly, even a refund can’t make up for how disturbing the entire experience was.

This hotel is a complete disgrace. Unsafe. Unsanitary. Unfit for guests. It’s only a matter of time before the city shuts this place down. Until then—stay far, far away.

  3. My family and I stay at this hotel whenever we got to AC. The pool is always working and clean. The location is perfect, in the middle of everything. But Yolanda from security prompted me to write a review, she assisted with a minor situation , but with her efficiency, kindness and wonderful communication; it became a huge positive experience. So thank you, and we will be back for spring break!

  4. Comfortable room, great walking distance away from boardwalk walk. Update: was promised $100 back but never received. Called and spoke with front desk multiple times and was told I would receive and that they’ve issued the refund, and I’m still waiting almost a year later.
