The building may look a little dated, but wait until you see the staff in action! They are exceptional. Everyone, including the PTs, was respectful and caring. Their expertise saw us through a long, difficult time, and we are beyond grateful. Thank you so much!

I recently had a client of mine move over to this facility and I must say the staff was very friendly, very patient. I love how they treat the patients here. They are so kind. The inside of the facility is open and bright, and the residents look very happy and content. I was very pleased with this place and I felt that my client was/ is going to be in good hands here.

Staff and nurses are overworked and underappreciated. They have been the only positively for my Grandmother. Administration is corrupt so make certain all legal documents are in current order and stay on top of all authorizations including unnecessary tests and constant medication changes. They will above and beyond double charge and send anyone in the family invoices demanding to be paid. Asking Lori part of admin why and I’m sure people are upset with you, response was because it’s owed to me and I don’t care people hate me I deal with it by ignoring them daily.
Better yet don’t chance the inevitable and look into other facilities such as Empire Nursing Home.
When you have nursing home administration, Nevada County Social Services, Nevada County Senior Citizen Protection Services, Northern Peoples Advocates (controlling all finances), The attending physician is one in same as the owner of Springhill Manor Nursing Home, all working hand in glove…just walk away because they refuse to show any transparency, bully any rights you have away by lying to Social Security and everyone else to ensure money charged out and money coming in bypasses you or any other rightful family member.
