Some of the staff were very friendly and understanding My mother was at the center for about a week or so after being in the hospital, while at the center she fell on October 31st I visited the next day and she was in a lot of pain and wasn’t able to get an X-ray until a day and a half later the med nurse just kept telling me she already asked for X-rays and she gave her something for the pain. Hospital called me to let me she fractured her hip, and the after her surgery Highland Palms didn’t accept her back they said she was trying to elope and they never informed me even though I visited everyday accept one day.
This facility allowed my friend to sit in fecal material for over an hour while he is ringing for a nurse to help. He calls us who then call the front desk and advise them of the situation and suggest that they do their jobs only to have the patient berated on front of other patients and told to never do that again because they are short staffed on weekends and he will just have to wait his turn.
I want to give praise to all of the staff in the rehab team.

The physical and occupational therapy department are friendly and motivating.
The people that work in the physical therapy and occupational therapy department are Awesome! They’re extremely nice and helpful, they know what they’re doing and they have helped me a lot.
