  1. My mom was admitted two days ago for rehabilitation. Krista was so very helpful with her admittance! Krista is fantastic and so very helpful! The entire staff has been amazing!

I will provide additional details and information as my mom’s stay, her progress and our experiences move forward!

  2. I work with senior patients at Pacific Hills Manor and their staff all the time. My patients get the rehab & skilled nursing care they need before they come to our assisted living community in Morgan Hill. I would highly recommend Pacific Hills Manor for rehab & skilled nursing needs in the Morgan Hill area. A few amazing staff mentions: Social Workers & Case Managers: Juana, Victoria, Euphrasia, Sadie, and Admissions Krista and there are plenty of others that are great as well.

  3. Think twice before choosing this facility. Patients are stacked 3 to a room and share a common bathroom. When were there, staff turnover was high, night shifts and weekend understaffed, and the call button goes unanswered. I watched them ignore it. I frequently had to hunt nurses down to get my mother her meds and we(and other families) had to bring in food since the meals there were sub-par. Don’t disregard the other 1 star reviews. You’ve been warned.

  4. It’s sad for me to leave a low score review for this place. I believe the people there really want to do a good job. I think they mean well and most of the workers really try. However, this place is so disorganized that the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. There seems to be a lack of overall oversight. Maybe some patients are lower-maintenance who don’t need checking up on but my dad has Alzheimer’s so he needs more help. I came in one day to find his food left there on a side table. My dad can’t even put his bed up or call for help. He needs someone to make sure he’s drinking water and eating. He was so weak and confused at the start he needed help eating. It’s hard enough watching your loved ones being so weak but knowing he’s being minimally cared for because he can’t ask for help is excruciating. My dad has very bad aphasia. If my husband or I hadn’t been there to continually ask for them to do their job — I doubt he would’ve gotten much care. As it is we were there five of seven days each week and for hours at a time! Then they would call us on our first day off — asking us to help when he was unruly — saying they were “short staffed.” That happened two or three times. It was unbelievable that they didn’t know what to do. What kind of incompetence..? It’s not that the people there are unwilling but seem to lack accountability or even experience. I had to ask for him to be changed almost every time I came and the smell in his room this last time was pretty bad. I had to ask them to clean the room properly. We asked three times for them to cut my dad’s nails and finally my husband just did it because we can’t get these people to provide consistent care. There are some wonderful workers there… Carla, Maggie, even Juana but the overall organization is too chaotic to provide quality care for your loved one. I don’t recommend this place!!!

  5. actually the worst, most horrifying place ever! handled my grandmother’s care TERRIBLY. she had covid and her children who also were paying for her care were never informed. It turned out there were many cases of covid in the facility. After they reached out to PHM, they said she was “asymptomatic.” Called to inform us she was going to the hospital for worsening “symptoms.” Excuse me, wasn’t she asymptomatic??? died 30 minutes later. the lack of respect for my grandma, my family, and the dignity of your facility is astounding. I 100% believe your facility did not handle this situation under proper protocol and displayed awful communication. You had a great responsibility and you clearly could not handle it. We never got to say goodbye to her. I sincerely hope you figure your stuff out so this does not happen to another family who has TRUSTED you and payed you to care for them. you have hurt my family so deeply. Please do not send your loved ones here.
