Landsby is a new, mixed-use urban neighborhood featuring four unique buildings and modern apartment homes. Positioned conveniently near public transportation and vibrant retail, it offers a lifestyle designed for comfort and community.
A uniquely luxurious urban village in the heart of Mountain View.

My girlfriend pays $5,800 a month in rent, but this is the worst apartment she’s ever lived in. The management and security are terrible. Her Amazon packages are constantly being stolen, and today her credit card was stolen from the mailroom and charged $20,000 (she’s already filed a fraud claim). And her roommate’s car window got smashed and broke in.
The lack of security here is unacceptable, especially considering the high rent. It’s outrageous that the Landsby team does nothing to address these issues.
Moving from the south has been stressful but I’m glad i found a place. I had such a great tour, the leasing agent called and verified my appointment, the customer service was top notch. Thank you!
Do not live here unless you wanted to be robbed, locked out constantly, have 0 response to emails and be constantly ignored by the leasing staff. The only positive side of living here is the daily maintenance people are amazing at their jobs, approachable and responsive. However, everyone else is unfortunately incompetent and will tell you false information to get you out of their office as soon as possible.
The lock/elevator/fobbing system is consistently faulty and will work 30% of the time. The app has never worked for me and most of my neighbours also have persistent issues with no solution.
The fire alarm went off basically every day for a month for no reason.
You will be charged for absolutely everything. App not working and you can’t get in? $250. Dog dug a hole in the dirt? $150. Lost your fob? $100 per fob. For the price you’d imagine you’d get a luxury experience. Nope. I’ve felt safer and more attended to at a Piccadilly Circus McDonald’s at midnight.
I called the out of hours maintenance line for an issue with a key not working and I was told there was no solution and I would be randomly charged $250. Someone else called with the same problem and the issue was resolved with no charge. Clearly there is 0 communication with staff on how to resolve certain issues which should be rather simple.
I rarely leave reviews but felt obligated. I have been a resident for 1 year and am moving out when my lease ends. Landsby leasing office has been extremely unprofessional and I’ve run into issues where my assigned parking spot is reassigned to another resident multiple times. There have been times where it’s 10pm and I come home to another person using my garage. Another incident a few months ago was another resident used my storage locker and put a lock on it. The leasing office took 6 months to resolve this issue and are not proactive, effective, or kind.
The residents are fed up and write these reviews to get the leasing office to fix basic necessities. Honestly, I signed the spot because the building is nice but learned my lesson.

Please do not pretend that you would like to discuss it. I already reached out to the leasing office but they haven’t replied for a week.

Original review:
The leasing office at Landsby did not keep their promises. They initially deceived us by saying they would offer a special deal where our application fee would be refundable, even if we changed our minds and canceled the application later. However, when we actually canceled the application, they changed their stance and said the application fee would only be waived if we stayed there.
For anyone who is applying, make sure to record every sentence they say or ask them to send you a written email outlining all the special offers they promised (e.g., refundable application fee or free weeks).
They do not keep a record of what they’ve said or the promises they’ve made, and they even tried to check my recordings (which shows they obviously didn’t maintain a documentation themselves for their promised offers). But it’s not my responsibility to prove THEIR promises with MY recordings. Will be taking this matter to small claims court to resolve it.
Also attached some pictures to prove my words, or otherwise they’ll let Google to delete my review.
