New Life Senior Assisted Living

I can’t say enough good things about New Life Senior Independent Living and Ed & Michelle who own and personally operate New Life Senior Independent Living.

Mom had dementia issues, took the all too common fall which landed her in the hospital, and then a skilled nursing rehabilitation facility (SNRF). Upon release she needed someone available to provide care 24 hours per day (although she did not need 24 hour constant care). We first hired an in home care service, but an $3,500 per week, the cost was unsustainable. We then started looking for more affordable group homes but found most unacceptable. Many of these residents were near death. Some smelled funny. The homes were old & depressing. Others had unacceptable rules.

We then found New Life Senior Independent Living. Ed & Michelle are super nice and super professional. Ed is a professional cook. Mom always commented how good the food was (a rarity in many group homes). Michelle was constantly keeping Mom busy with lots of activities including games and exercises. They purchased a home in a very nice and convenient area of Murrieta, then put in major upgrades and beautifully decorated the home. The all-inclusive price of $5,000 per month was very reasonable comparing to other group homes. (That was 2 years ago so price is probably higher now due to inflation.

Bottom Line – I highly recommend Ed & Michelle’s New Life Senior Independent Living.

Our family feels absolutely blessed to have found Michelle and Ed, owners of New Life Senior Independent Living, for our mom. She has received amazing support and the best compassionate care with Michelle and Ed. They have done so much to improve her quality of life. Our mom lived briefly at an assisted-living community that while a nice setting with good staff ultimately wasn’t a good fit for her and she grew very unhappy there. Her move to New Life literally served as a new lease on life for her. She is so happy and content, and is grateful to have warm and wonderful caregivers who not only help with her daily needs but also take time to be a friend by engaging her in conversation, taking her on outings, and involving her in activities that she enjoys. Our family truly believes that she would not still be with us at 96 without the terrific care she receives at New Life. Our family has incredible peace of mind knowing she is getting the best of care at New Life. Thank you, Michelle and Ed, for all you do. You make our local community better!
