Beautiful place but turn off and deal breaker was their one time “community fee” of (in our case) just shy of $10,000. Too bad. Balcony apt. In rear was great and cost was about $10,000 a month. As one needs increased care (our start was Independent Living) so do the monthly costs.?
The people are great, the food is very good. They took very good care of my wife.
Beautiful new modern clean community with enthusiastic and supportive staff. Excellent food. Ability to age in place from assisted living through memory care with hospice waivers too. Lots of fun special events for the whole family. They go the extra mile at the Oaks.
My mother has had great care at The Oaks at Paso Robles. From day 1 she has had individualized attention and care. The staff have treated her very well and they are attentive to family as well. They are advocates for their residents and families with professional medical staff providing on site visits and keeping family up to date on changes in their loved ones status. Last week my mom said “ I’m happy here, what’s not to love, and the food is so good! Check out the photo of her with the crown they gave her for Mother’s Day. That made the day so very special!
My Dad Robert Prophet moved into The Oaks February of 2023 after the passing of my Mom he beloved wife of 66 years. The staff always treated all of us with great kindness and compassion during this huge transition in my Dads life. We work most of the time out of town and knowing his meals were prepared, his room cleaned weekly, lots of entertainment and socializing with other residents available for him. He was also able to have his dog with him which was such a comfort for him. We would never hesitate to recommend The Oaks for a wonderful place for your loved one.
