When we went to pay our bill after lunch at the bar, the bartender asked for our pin number. I’ve never been asked for a pin number when making purchases on my credit card, the only time I need my pin number is the bank, gas, etc. But never for food or General purchases. We used cash to pay for our bill, which is not what we intended to do. The bartender had taken our receipt back with the credit card and when I asked him how much we owed he said 130 something so he never brought the bill back for me to look at it so I could tip him properly and now looking back at it, for the service we got I shouldn’t have left the tip that I did. Our area wasn’t cleaned up until we were getting ready to leave .We both agreed that we would never be coming back there again . For a five star hotel we found it very unacceptable. They switched our order so I had to have my lunch sent back. Our lunch came with a side condiment that we never got until I had it re-ordered again.

I’ve been to dozens of resorts in my many years of being an interstate motor coach operator. This by far is one of the nicest if not the best properties I’ve even had the extreme pleasure of being a registered guest of. Being there several times over the last 3 yrs. The employees all recognize me & most call me by name. With them seeing untold amounts of people each week. It’s very nice to know I’ve left an impression on them. Hopefully it has been a positive one. lol.
