I’ve worked all shifts possible at 4 places as a CNA and have seen the inside of about 20 facilities total. In my opinion, NONE of them beat Copper Ridge! Namely, the collective family atmosphere; the sense of welcomeness, togetherness, and belonging (both around the staff and the residents); the pleasant-looking interior design. That’s why I felt so sad when I had to quit. On my last day, I dedicated the time out of my day to say proper goodbye to everybody (colleagues and residents) in the building. That stands to reason why I visited the facility twice after I had resigned. Two other places I worked at afterwards did not offer even remotely the same vibe! That applies not just to CNAs and nurses (like Blake, Stormy, Sonia, Jared, Julliet, Tiffany, Nicole, etc..), but also to the kitchen staff (like Cathy, Paige, Jackie, and other people), the environmental services (Josh, Pablo, Misty, Uriel), the activity workers (Tamara, Chris, etc…), Sara the masseuse, all the receptionists, physical activity workers (Curt, Michael, Jim, Casey, Michelle, etc..), Dawna the HR, and Darrell the administrator, to name a few. If you and I interacted on a regular and your name is not included above, know that I’m grateful to you just as much! I’ll never forget you. Apologies for misspelled names, if any. All of the Copper Ridge Staff and Nurses work great together to provide excellent care to our residents! I would highly recommend joining the team at Copper Ridge Care Center!
My mom lived at Copper Ridge during COVID, the most frustrating period for all of us. Surprisingly, her continence improved with the consistent caring staff. There were no rotations and she was able to really get to know her caregivers, and they knew her well. At the time she passed, I think she was their longest resident, five years! When there were problems, (and there were!) the staff and administration were so respectful and responsive. I visited very frequently (even with my dog), and was always welcomed; some of the residents and staff became like family. ❤️
I’m soo happy to have had my loved one cared for and taken care of by the Copper Ridge Care Center team! They truly made me feel like they cared and always had fun activities to keep all those there involved and entertained.
