Yes, this facility is clean and well kept. However our family members have lived here for close to two years. There is a huge staff turn over. The director, Yolanda feels the need to over ride home health/hospice recommendations each time a change is suggested. When I pressure staff about this, I’m told it is “ because we keep people alive at this facility “. So in other words, they only care about the huge amount of money they are getting paid monthly and not about the care or comfort of the residents. We are currently looking for another facility that will provide appropriate care for our loved ones.
This isn’t a review for the entire place, just one geared towards particular people there. Chef L is rude and mean, and the elderly people there (a particular 2) were racist towards me. Chef L didn’t respect me on certain things and she is not a nice person when it comes to those. Also just people the people are elderly doesn’t give them the right to be rude to you. I also heard another racist remark as I left the building another time too.
The facility is clean, and it is also beautiful. The staff are beautiful. When I visit my loved one, I am impressed with the environment. This is definitely a place for anyone’s loved one.
