My first experience with Agape was the period between 2018 and 2020 when my mom was a client there. I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the facility and the effort that was put into providing healthy and nutritious meals. My mom’s bedding and clothing was always freshly laundered. As you can see by the dates above she was there during the early days of the Covid crisis. No one at the facility ever contracted the virus. The lady that runs the house could see that mom was becoming depressed because of the lack of family visitation, so she arranged for us to visit on the patio (without contact) for the last few months of mom’s life of 102 years. That brings me to the present in dealing with my wife of 56 years who became too ill for me to care for at home. The first place I contacted was Agape and I was very relieved to find out that they had an opening. She has been there for a year now and I am just as pleased now as when my mom was there. Needless to say I am a big proponent.
Having my great grandmother stay at Agape Home for over a year has been a blessing. Despite her advanced dementia and occasional outbursts, the staff here always goes above and beyond to accommodate her needs. Living nearby, I often pop in unannounced, and each time, I find the home well-maintained. Seeing my great grandmother content brings me immense gratitude. I’m truly thankful for discovering this wonderful place that has been nothing but kind and supportive.
My beautiful mother had to go into assisted living at 92. She passed a couple months ago after being with Agape for two years. She needed physical help but was 100% lucid. It’s incredibly difficult to depend on other people to do the things we take for granted and there is no equal to doing it for yourself. I am so grateful to Edith for being there 24/7 to help her. I was there regularly to spend time with my mom and she and everything around her was always clean and in order. God bless Edith and her family for being there for the people that need her. I saw a lot of dementia and Alzheimer’s patients and again, thank God for their care. I don’t think I would have what it takes to do it. I would recommend Agape to anyone needing care for their loved one.
The worst elderly care ever. I hear the tenants crying and screaming at night and the owner yelling at the the tenants. Stay away from this place
