Portola Gardens Assisted Living in San Francisco has been the biggest gift to our sister and family. After a near death accident which left our sister with a permanent brain injury, we searched for the perfect facility that would meet her physical, mental and social needs. @@ The response below is a poor attempt at saving face… contacted them several times before and after they posted their response. I have not gotten a response back from them since their response here. Honestly, if you have something you want to discuss, pick up the phone and ask your question. Otherwise, pay your overdue bill. It is as simple as that.
The director is a thief plain and simple. Watch out….if you are a contractor and do any work for this community you will definitely not be paid timely especially if you are working with the facilities Director/CEO, that is if you are paid at all. This was not just my experience, every contractor that I saw come and go in my time there had issues being paid on time and many at all.
Do you really want to trust your loved ones with folks that run their business like that? Running out on any bill he can so he ‘looks good’ to the business owners and the management company?
