My mom was in Oak River for two months for complications from major surgery. Mentally, mom was depressed and disoriented when she first arrived. The Staff and Nurses were always positive and loving and treated her as family through a difficult recovery. They accommodated all our family and worked with us through the entire process. Mom returned home able to care for herself and post operative care requirements she was taught. She left with an upbeat, positive attitude ready for life. Can’t say enough about the entire team.
I cannot say enough about the kind, quality care that was given to our mother at Oak River. The facility was clean, and they kept our mother clean. Terri the event coordinator helped our mother attend events,The cafeteria prepared wonder balanced meals, specially preped to help her eat. Nursing staff monitored all her meds and kept us Informed on her progres. Their social services were a tremendous help in processing paperwork so that we had the help we needed when we brought mom home.
