At The Pines at Poughkeepsie Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, we center health care on healing so the joys of daily living can be celebrated. Our center provides post-acute rehabilitation and long-term care services, including a myriad of medical and therapy services.
My mother was fortunate to be placed there after her knee started to give out. She LOVED this place. She had a dedicated team who tended to her every need. They were very communicative, responsive and proactive. They met her where she was. I felt so secure every day knowing she was in their care safely. She passed away of old age sadly. They were actively involved with her. They made her feel at home, seen, heard. They gave her her dignity, integrity, the respect our elders deserve. They truly cared for her. And she appreciated it every day. As did I. I HIGHLY recommend The Pines. There are fun things to do in the area as well. Thank you to everyone at The Pines! Thank you.
The only down side is my mom’s roommate stole her food off her tray when she wasn’t done and it makes me worried about her stealing other things. Other wise they are amazing people who are always short staff and go above and beyond in tough situations. Thank god for nurses!!!!
