I would like to thank the amazing compassionate care and people there especially 6th floor for the care they gave Earl
Campbell and me when he was there god bless you
I have a dear friend age 102 living there…she is on a pureed diet, but don’t see much effort to give her any food variety – she and family both say the food is terrible – like “dog food”. Trying to call her room phone is awful…granted she is frail and 102 – but it is an old fashioned very bulky phone with cords etc…she cannot manage! Even on holidays little for her to do all day..she is hard of hearing and her vision is not good – but she is alert and aware of what is happening around her. Can’t someone in OT or activities read the paper with her? Or do a manicure? Just take time to visit with her? She loves animals – they had pigs one day and she really liked that – she has been a resident for months with very little stimulation. Even just take her outside for awhile?? I am disabled and unable to visit or do much for her – other than very frustrating inability to even talk on the phone with her. I would recommend not to put your family member here! A few compassionate workers – but also some way too quick and aggressive with her.
Please don’t ever bring your loved one to this place it’s filthy , food is horrible , there’s no supervision, my sister in law fell, now she’ll never walk again thank you Bethany gardens, biggest mistake I ever made, the care is horrible, she was dirty, body Oder, they should be ashamed!!
