Funded primarily through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the GRHC is independently administered and governed by a five-member board appointed by the Grand Rapids City Manager and approved by the City Commission. The GRHC operates eight low-income housing developments and administers federal rental subsidy programs as well as a Rapid Re‑Housing program.
The Grand Rapids Housing Commission (GRHC) administers affordable housing programs that serve low-income households in Kent County and Ottawa County, Michigan.

June 30th to July 4th 2018, HEAT Wave Hell. City Fathers / Grand Rapids Housing Commission, poor planing and gross mismanagement of Real Property and Grounds. Saved so much money it will cost millions to restore and repair . Senior and elder should have better. Management changes have not been in best interest of poor citizens residents.
