Ardent Care

This place initially seemed like a great fit for my mother. I later learned the staff was verbally abusive to patients (witnessed many times!), yelling at people with dementia. One woman (patient) in particular was so sweet & I was there when her daughter was touring the place. Sadly, I later saw the staff being verbally abusive to her mother. The staff is very “rough” in general and the manager is as well. When you tour this place you’ll meet a nice older woman- she is only the marketing person & has no involvement whatsoever in the day to day operation! The manager is non- responsive about issues- not returning calls or responding to emails about care issues.
Also- I was told my mother needed a tilt wheelchair urgently when she moved in, so I actually purchased one. They couldn’t even figure out how to use it & they actually ended up obtaining one through insurance later. So I threw away $1200 & when I brought the wheelchair home, I was easily able to figure out how to tilt it. I was also supposed to be allowed to visit my mother’s room. I did on one occasion, but after that I could not. One time I came in & one of the staff was very aggressive & rude with me & even threatening!! They prohibited me from entering her room & when I asked the manager also said I was not allowed!? She also “lost”gifts such as perfume. My mother was neglected as well- her nails long, teeth never brushed, etc. This place is unprofessional. Sadly this is common among assistive living for dementia.

It is a very upbeat all the staff is always in a good mood and I highly recommend them

Good place

Nice and familiar place for the elderly. I work there and I like the way the residents are treated by the staff. The rooms are very nice and the seniors have many a activities to enjoy.
