I recently moved to La Quinta and 2 months after my move I slipped in my shower and broke my shoulder and badly damaged the rest of my arm. I’m single and barely knew anyone in my new area and have no family here. While I spent my Sunday in ER, my daughter was busy finding me immediate and quality homecare from her home in Boise.
Monday morning comes and I’m still totally confused about what my immediate future holds and my daughter called to tell me that she has arranged for the local Arosa Care Manager, Denise, to call me and come to my house and arrange for her staff to come and take care of me right away. Denise called right at 8, was at my house at 10 to make the personal connection and get all of my personal and health needs, and I immediately felt like “I can do this “.
Starting from the very next day, I had personal and professional quality care provided by Arosa staff trained by Denise. She even was at my house to introduce me to my homecare provider and go over my many needs. I was basically one-armed for weeks and Arosa staff did everything I needed: helping me get dressed, shampooing my hair, light cooking, making my bed, doing my laundry, Dr’s appointments, picking up my many prescriptions, grocery shopping and errands, light cleaning after my cat, sewing a button on, practically anything and everything that I needed was met with patient care and support. They showed up on time and I always felt I was in good hands.
Denise and Arosa came into my life at an extremely challenging time and made my physical and emotional recovery much easier- I recommend them highly should you find yourself in a similar circumstance.
