Atria Palm Desert is such amazing community. My mother in law has been there almost 2 years now and is thriving. We are welcome to come visit day or night and are often invited to family events. The food is wonderful and there are lots of choices. The administrator Cheree is hands on and very responsive to any situation that may arise. I recommend this facility to anyone looking. If I ever need assisted living I hope they have room for me.
My good friend is a resident there and is very satisfied. There are lots of activities, Joselyn senior center is across the street also offering activities.
The staff are all so professional, they look after WS when we can’t be there. The food is good (I’ve dined there too). I pop in 3-4 times a week, he needs are always met. They keep us informed without us asking.
Even some residents have befriended us & keep us informed as his short term memory is very very short, so that’s very helpful!
Overall, he’s in great hands!
STOP! How many times should you call and leave a message before your calls are returned?
The person currently running the show here in the ED role as of MAY 2023 lacks professionalism. She will turn her back on calls left and walk right out the door before considering connecting with you. 3- messages left for one person is ENOUGH of an indication. The way calls are handled there should make anyone think twice about handing over money to this location. She has no idea how she is tarnishing the brand (THIS IS SO SAD). My advice is to consider another location, CERTAINLY NOT THIS ONE. Not sure what she is thinking, but You deserve better.
