Description

For many years it was run as a long-term care facility, but in November of 2018, West Harbor Healthcare took over and renovated and repurposed the facility to serve as a Short-Term Rehabilitation facility in Yuba City. The focus is on quality and service while remaining mindful of the challenges and changes facing seniors in today’s world.

Built in 1970, Bridgeview Post Acute located at 521 Lorel Way in Yuba City CA is the premier Skilled Nursing and Rehab facility in Sutter County.

  1. The staff is very kind and effective. Thanks to the team of the therapists, my mom was able to stand and walk after the stroke she had because of my dad’s death. The food is ok. The nurses and the CNAs are very helpful and get back to you always on time. The only issue was the social worker who ignored our request for the discharge transportation and didn’t order it on time, so they called to the transportation company the same day and made us to wait almost three hours. They were able to transport her safely home but the wait time was long. Hope this issue won’t happen again. Still want to give a five star review to the team and the owner for helping to fix the issue with the transportation.

  2. Thank you to all the staff, nurses and management for the care I received these last few months. From the onset, I was impressed with the comfort and warmth of everyone there. The facility itself was well-maintained and pleasant to be in, as much as can be for patients to have a conducive healthcare environment for recovery. At my previous facility, it felt like staff were stretched thin. Granted there’s a labor shortage, the impacts weren’t noticeable as much here. The therapists were knowledgeable and tailored my program to suit individual needs. Communication was always open, and they made sure that both myself and family were wellinformed. I would recommend Bridgeview for anyone seeking short to long term rehabilitative care.

  3. My wife was there in April 2023. She was suppose to be there for rehabilitation. We don’t see any physical therapists until the last day when it was asked, how to get her to go home. Was told she need to work to the physical therapy office and climb up 3 steps. All physical therapy was done from her husband to help her get up and go to the bathroom and walk. The nursing staff was very rude and unhelpful. When she was in pain it would take up to 2 hours to get a pain pill or her husband would have to go find a nurse to help her with pain management (pills).
The room that she was in was not clean with crumbs of food all over the floor when she arrived there and was never cleaned the whole time she was in there. There was a sliding glass door that led outside that would not lock, so the room was not very secure from the outside people. Not sure if the bedding was clean or not when she arrived because there were stains on them.
There were other patients that just wondered the hallways and going in and out of other patients rooms even when asked not to do that. The staff would not help control them.
If you are thinking about taking a loved ones there please look for another place.
It was a place that I would not even take a dog too!!!!!!!
