Not impressed at all.
Do NOT I mean DO NOT bring any family member or elder here! Too much yelling around the bed creaks too much for my grandpa he is uncomfortable, feel like they are just giving tap water. The smell is a little weird but understandable. Rarely coming to check they don’t check on other patients either. DO NOT come.
Clean facility, great customer service, and most importantly, they care about the patient
I love the staff and the rooms at Brush Country. They have a great cook and the meals are top notch. Super large tvs. The room always seems clean, and residents hang out happily at the nurses’s front desk. Staff interacts with patients and form close relationships. However there don’t seem to be as many activities like at other nursing homes. But it is very friendly indeed! The social worker was also very helpful and professional.
The downside is it seems to be disorganized on the medical side. Once husband was discharged, had to go back twice to pick up medications and a wheelchair. Home instructions were not given. Alzheimers patients wander in their wheelchairs without much supervision. Rehab evaluation was slack. Husband developed serious C-Diff infection and was in hospital 3 days after returning home. The bed mattress was very thin and plastic with not much oversight by staff. Anyways, I sincerely hope it improves as it has a lot of potential.
