We care for people, and people are far more than their medical conditions. Our ongoing mission is to design a specific plan to help those in our care achieve their best possible health – in the comfort of home.
At CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Home Care, we are more than an organization of healthcare professionals – we are proud members of communities across east Texas. Quality service is our mission. And to us, service means getting to know our patients on a personal level.

Here is just my opinion. If all you need is someone to show up when ever they show up and take vitals and leave, this place is as good as any. Low expectations are probably very doable for them.
However, if you need schedule highly skilled nursing that is consistent and honest, I would suggest looking elsewhere and getting patient recommendations. I regret hiring them and I am very happy that I fired them yesterday.
This is not true of all of the Nurses. 2 seemed quite competent. The others just seemed like people who haven’t quite figured out how to get paid without having to show up. But they have figured out that the check is the same whether care about what they are doing or not. Good Medical care is tough to come by and great care is rare. They suffer the same issues here. People who know that they get a check for merely showing up.
Honestly… this may just be as good as it gets in this area.
“Response to the Response”
That’s great lip service but it’s not reality. If it were reality, then the multiple phone calls that I had with your staff and management prior to making the decision to separate myself would have been effective. Additionally, after having seen comments placed in her my chart about our separation, your honesty is also in question. Maybe your pride is misplaced.
