I just wanted to post my experience with Diamond Rock Terrace (Senior Housing) Property Manager, Tammy Durocher, and the community in general. I have been in the Real Estate industry since the mid 1990’s, and I have dealt with various property managers / personalities over the years.
Tammy made our experience flawless; her communication was outstanding, and her patience was appreciated. She made this emotional move for my mother an amazing and exciting journey.
She made sure the apartment was clean and that all the closet doors opened properly, etc. She is an unbelievably detailed oriented and respectable property manager.
We were so impressed with the community and the comfort knowing that Tammy is there to help, that we now have my father moving into Diamond Rock Terrace as well (my parents are divorced but great friends).
Kudos to Ms. Durocher for showing her talents with what she does every day with many, many moving parts. Amazing job!
As far as the community and the apartment, its clean, the layout of the apartment is perfect, and the management is well organized. My mother’s apartment is so nice, and the closet space is just incredible. There are two large closets in the hall, a large pantry, a large linen closet and then the bedrooms have their own generous size closets. There are also three pull emergency switches, one in each bedroom and the bathroom. If you pull it, an ambulance will come.
The building is secure and handicapped accessible. There is a large indoor garbage/recycling room, a very spacious communal area / full kitchen for tenants. There is the option for you to reserve the room for your own special family or friends’ gatherings. There is also another common room for doing puzzles, crafts etc.…
They have an indoor laundry center with a card for you to load money on – I think its $1.75 per load, per wash/dry. HEAT is included in the rent which makes for a nice savings – spectrum internet is $40 per month for streaming Netflix, etc. I am told National Grid average in these apartments are approximately $40. Per month.
Once a week they have a bus that will take you to Hannaford. The large bus picks you up directly outside the building, which my mom did for the first time today 1/30/25. She just called me and said the bus driver was AMAZING, he stores the groceries under the bus for you and then loads and unloads them and brings it in for you if you need the help. She was so impressed with the driver, she said he works his butt off! They have a nice little sitting area in the lobby for you to wait for the bus.
There is also a bible reading group that gathers once a week and a card playing group.
This is all that I have learned so far and my mom is having fun. She is sleeping great and feels comfortable and secure.

Tammy was very helpful as I explored renting an apartment for a family member. She toured us through the facility before and again in move-in day, and walked us through the laborious paperwork process, as well as guiding us through the utility sign-up, all in a good humor and helpful attitude. Move-in was easy and my family member is settled and happy.
Tammy is an all around great human being. I went through many hoops for my clients to find a safe reliable place to call home, and Tammy was the only one who did not drag us through the mud! We appreciate everything you do Tammy. You go above and beyond for these residents that live here. Would recommend this place/property manager to anyone over 55.❤️❤️
I love my apartment , the building is nice and clean and quiet, the Gym and reading room is so peaceful and I think it’s great they have a pantry once a month for us tenants .. and Tammy is great and very helpful. From the time I applied and since I moved in she emails me and checks on me asking if I need anything and is my apartment ok .I’m happy with my life. Here at Diamond Rock Terrace.
I have never felt more welcome from Tammy Durocher, moving in & so easy to communicate with the transition of my new Home.
I must say no matter how busy she is, and she’s always busy, she is very attentive & never fells rushed to complete the issue or issues with the residents.
She goes above & beyond what is expected.
Also a pleasant asset to this apartment complex.
