If I could give this place negative stars I would! Seeing that this place is still open and still having the same issues I dealt with when I was there. It’s sad! My experience having my mom there was actually horrendous and I pray for anyone that has a family member there.
What a wonderful staff at Seabreeze. Everyone is so attentive and gives my husband one on one care. They listen to the family and do care plans for my husband. I would highly recommend Seabreeze.
My Stepdad was placed here on hospice, let’s just say DO NOT PLACE your family members who needs total care here. They have some beautiful spirit nurses and CNA’s that helped when my complaints became loud. I had him immediately removed within just a day ½ & brought back home and I just remained in Houston until his passing. My issue was he was in his same soiled pamper as the previous day, ( i know this because I wrote on his pamper the night before) , when asked for him to get a bath there was no hot water in the facility. However the nurse did warm up water and mix it to bathe him . Just believe the reviews I wish I had done so. But I’m a person to give people a chance but when it comes to last days no one deserves what was being done to him which was nothing .
Had my Husband out here and he fell 15 times, the first time he had to get stitches! Then he fell because he was dehydrated, so they wasn’t giving him water, next thing they said he was terrorize the patient, but every time I went he was always in the bed smelling of piss, I never once saw him out of the bed!!! Then they said he couldn’t be there anymore, and they kept all his socks and pants and walker. And his shoes, wheelchair. So now I am in the process of getting him pants and supplies. He has been in another facility and I’ve seen a significant improvement, he is up sitting upright and he not always in the bed. Not once since he’s been there have they complained that he’s terrorizing the other people he has a roommate and I have video to prove that. I feel like if you work in these types of facilities our a hospital, treat people with respect and they will probably be better individuals, we all have to remember, they want to be treated like human beings, the older generation have a voice even though they don’t remember everything, at one time they were somebody. When you’re sick you’re never at your best so let’s try and remember that when you’re taking care of individuals!!!!
