I absolutely love this community and the staff! The building is so clean and beautiful inside. It offers a history like no other community and a step back in time. I love the way Fairhaven feels inside and outside. Robyn, Georgina, and Brittany truly care for the residents and their families. All of the staff members are happy and greet everyone with a smile. This is indeed a happy, warm, cheerful place.
There is so much glass and natural light allowing views of wooded acres behind the building.
Lunch was delicious..catfish, sweet potato fries, key lime pie, all high end restaurant quality, served on linen tablecloths.
Best of all, residents and staff were friendly and and welcoming and obviously enjoyed being there.
The grounds are wheelchair friendly, with an outdoor kitchen and gardens.
Pets are allowed too!
This is a special place, similar to a resort but with able helping hands whenever needed.
We love this place for our dad. The place is very bright, open floor plan, easy to walk to meals and has windows in each room looking out at nature. Plenty of outdoor tables and chairs. The place is very clean and doesn’t have that smell like other facilities. They are always having events for the residents, providing special activities, ice cream socials, and groups bringing treats and entertainment in. The staff there is awesome as well. Very attentive and caring. The communication has been a two way street with the directors and they are always keeping us informed. They have a Facebook page also, that keeps us informed of what is happening. I highly recommend!
The heartbeat is strong at Fairhaven in Denton. Many times I have visited and recieved warm friendly welcomes from staff and residents. There is a genuine heartfelt compassion, care and concern for all. The staff is appreciative of innovative resources to add value to the community and the people who call Fairhaven home.
