I recently visited Grandview Nursing home I drove from North Carolina after hearing my dad was here he has Parkinson’s disease and dementia when I arrived there my dad was laying in his bed in the hallway ripped pants pee on the floor and not one person bothered to check on him also asked about his meds and never got a straight answer this is not good
My grandma was there for respite care for 5 days. She was continent and they refused to answer call light or take her to toilet Friday through Sunday. They never soaked her teeth the five days. She has an open wound on her leg they never treated or bandaged. They never used her prescription medication for her feet and ankles that controls her pain. They never washed her hands except once on Saturday. They never put her in her pjs we sent. Her drinking water was warm when we picked her up. She said they drugged her at night and I’m guessing so they didn’t have to deal with her. When the cna from hospice came on Thursday she was on the toilet and her call light was on a while she said to get up. The hospice cna said there were two nurses just standing there outside her room talking and ignoring the call light. She was walking 80 feet on Wednesday when we dropped her off and on Monday when we picked her up she could not even stand. They totally neglected her!!!
Good staff and place
My mother in law was placed here for the remainder of her days. She was also in hospice care while she was there. I want to thank Donna Bailey for the exceptional care she gave her. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone. I was very impressed with the care she received. Thank you all for taking such great care of her.
