Haven at Lewisville Lake

At 0830 on 3/25/25, the Denton County Pct. 3 Constable pounded LOUDLY on my door and rang my doorbell for a long time. When I didn’t answer, he left a notice to respond ASAP. The constable’s office told me that the address and apartment number checked out but I later learned the addressee was under another name. Apparently, someone who had moved was to be served docs for eviction. The constable told Farrell (manager?) about the discrepancy, yet she blew me off when I called her about it. Two days later I went to the office to ask why, and she stated she did not have my phone number, the one used to inquire if I would be renewing my lease last year. An apology….oh no! Gaslighting and talking over me was followed with a threat to involve enforcement AGAIN! Since she came on board in early March, both elevators in Building #1 were inoperable for 1 week+ leaving people who couldn’t take the stairs stranded. Two entrance/exit gates are closed and inoperable requiring a drive around the entire perimeter of the complex to leave, mattresses are piled by the dumpster, grounds unkempt, and loose shingles have been blowing off since ‘repairs’ were completed for of a roof leak that was affecting my bedroom. Power-washing external surfaces took priority over maintenance requests, including mine from late 2024. She boasts about her experience; however, chaos, heavy-handedness, and poor judgement make me wonder. The people paying the bills (residents) expect some level of accountability, not dismissive excuses. I’ll withdraw this review if and when.

If Livingston Street buys your complex watch out! They are slum lords brutally raising rents and barely maintaining major items. I emailed a long list of long derelict items with photos and now I am being harassed and targeted for hall photos and patio decor! If at all possible GET AWAY from Livingston!
