NEW HERE. EVERYTHING IS JUST ABOUT PERFECT. THE STAFF IS WONDERFUL, THE ROOMS BRIGHT AND LOVELY AND MANAGEMENT HERE ARE ON TOP OF EVERYTHING AND ALSO FUN BUT WHOEVER DOES THE MEAL PLANNING SEEMS TO THING SENIORS NEED MORE & MORE CARBS. PROTEIN IS VERY SCARCE AT MOST MEALS. PASTA AND RICE IS PLENTIFUL. ALSO SOME COOKS NEED TO LEARN HOW TO COOK MEAT SO THAT IT FLAVORFUL, MOIST AND TENDER.
Would not recommend any of Hawthorne locations as they are just managing company if you’d like to file a complaint attached is a photo with the owners Investigation phone number, would you want your family members to live in this this is the laundry facilities one of several that looks like this and management has not done anything to correct the issue.
I have been a resident of Ashton Gardens here in Portland for over a year now. The staff is very good as is the meals we have here. My only concern is the temperature in the dining room! It is either very cool or at times outright cold. I have told me managers here but to no avail. Thank you in advance if you can help in this matter.
Not unusual for our food to be served cold the trash in laundry rooms have been neglected to be emptied until the smell accumulated down the hallways
