So glad I chose Hidalgo Skilled Nursing & Rehab after my total hip replacement. The staff were fantastic! They were caring, friendly & hard working. The PT/OT area was large and had good equipment. My PTA Valeria & my OT Penny were awesome. They helped me so much. Shared many helpful hints to make me self sufficient again.
The facility was clean, and well maintained. The food from their in-house kitchen was very tasty and filling.
They have 1 short term wing, 2 long term wings and a skilled nursing wing. If you are looking for great care for yourself or a family member you won’t go wrong by coming here.

My Sister, Gail Keyes, went for therapy for a month. This place is awesome. Great therapy department even better than the therapy she received at the hospital in the past. Jessie was great.

Delfina and Maria were her CNA’S and they were so wonderful to her. Claudia always made sure she got her to her doctor appointments on time.

My mother was sent here to live out the last month she had left of her life. Not by choice, but because she couldn’t come home due to her needing a high flow oxygen machine. This is a mistake I will always regret. Her time here was nothing but constant pain and suffering. The nurses lack compassion and empathy. My mother went hours with her call light on before being helped, and they were always behind to administer medication. My mother was bed bound, she’d lay there in pain always having to call me so I could call the front desk so they could make a nurse go and help her. My mother died here. I will never forget how I was ignored by her nurse while I was there to sit with my mother during her final moments. This day replays in my head most of the time. I don’t know how else to explain this place but cold. Please reconsider putting your loved one here.
