Welcome to Hilltop Commons, a premier 62 and older senior living community in Grass Valley, California, offering independent living with a variety of amenities.
My dad (Donald Carter) lived at Hilltop Commons for almost a year and we both wish it could have been much longer. From our initial meeting with Tracy, to move in and becoming part of the Hilltop community, he was very happy and content. He loved the entire staff, the food was excellent and the residents very welcoming. He has made some good friends. If your looking at moving into a independent living situation, Hilltop should be at the top of your list. Talk to Tracy!
My mom has lived at Hilltop Commons since December ‘22 and she thoroughly enjoys everything about it. The accommodations are first rate, the staff totally professional and the other residents welcoming and friendly. I recommend it unequivocally.
My Dad is a resident here and has a very comfortable home. They have on-site dining room w/ a chef for the residents, with two full meals a day. His apartment also has a mid sized fridge and a microwave in the small kitchen/dining area. It’s a 1 bed/1 bath apartment w/cable and internet and individual hvac. They do the sheets each week and do a light housekeeping. He also has access to the community w/d, a little down the hall. So he’s pretty self sufficient. The entire staff is incredibly kind (he endured the Covid lockdown here without us) and would bend over backwards to accommodate you if asked. The often have community events, field trips, bands, etc… lots of activities. It truly is a family place w/ample privacy – if so desired. Residents are allowed to have small pets too! It’s great to know he’s got nice people around him all the time, and it’s always nice to visit him here.
My mother has been living at Hilltop Commons for the past year and could not be happier. From my first contact with Stacy, who was exceptionally helpful, positive, enthusiastic, and informative, every interaction with a staff member has been excellent. The maintenance staff go out of their way to be helpful with any problem she has had, from helping her figure out the washing machine (she is quite visually impaired) to changing the font size on her Kindle. We feel confident that she is well cared for and safe.
My mother Pat Bradley was in Hilltop Commons for a year. She was treated with love and compassion and made many new friends there. All the staff at Hilltop Commons treat the resident like family. The environment is always clean, beautiful, and decorated for every holiday.
Tracy has been a great help and more like a family member. Pat had to go to skilled nursing and was very sad to leave Hilltop Commons
