Wouldn’t live here again, plenty of other communities with similar amenities for the price you will pay. If you do move in, triple check they send your security deposit back because I have had to ask them to send it for the past 3 months-still don’t have it. They try to wait until people forget so they can keep it, which I almost did.

Edit in response to the owner below-it’s a joke at this point to tell me to call the office. I’ve called and emailed for 3 months going on 4 now. No one has followed through and I’d be lucky if you even decide to answer the resident services phone (it’s a 50/50 chance for residents). The leasing dept answers 100% of the time so they don’t miss a sale.

Unresponsive Management & Rooster Nuisance

BIRD FLU, DISEASE, AND SICKNESS COMING

I live very close to the splash pad and have been a resident at Kapilina Beach Homes in Ewa Beach for a few months. My family and neighbors have had ongoing issues with roosters crowing all day and night, fighting, leaving bird droppings everywhere, and raising serious concerns about bird flu. It’s become unbearable. These birds are more than a minor annoyance—they’re affecting our sleep, peace of mind, and public health.

Now, they’re attacking kids and have generally taken over the entire community.

I have a young baby, and our family is unable to sleep at night—or even let the baby nap during the day—due to the constant noise and rooster fights. One of our neighbors is feeding them, making the problem even worse (and management still hasn’t done anything about it).

Despite numerous complaints, management has done nothing meaningful to resolve the situation. The lack of response and accountability is incredibly disappointing for a community that advertises itself as peaceful and family-friendly.

If you’re considering moving here, be aware: you’re not just paying for paradise views—you’re also signing up for a daily rooster concert, bird fights, and poop-covered walkways. I would not recommend living here until serious action is taken.

We lived here on the beach for 3 years and truly enjoyed it.

The worst place I have ever rented! Their apathetic and infuriatingly slow responses make dealing with them a nightmare. They do absolutely nothing—no maintenance, no replies to emails, no responses to office visits. They simply do not care.

I rented a house from them, and it was infested with all kinds of insects. The kitchen wood is literally disintegrating due to age, probably untouched since the house was built. They have inspected the property multiple times, yet nothing has changed. Instead of fixing anything, they had the audacity to send me an email threatening to charge me for the kitchen, claiming I am responsible for the deteriorated wood and accusing me of damaging it!

As for the bathroom, water leaks from both above and below at the same time—wasting water that I have to pay for!

I even read a previous tenant’s review stating that when they requested repairs, the landlord responded by increasing their rent and electricity bill from $200 to a staggering $1,200! This is their method—either stay silent and accept the horrific conditions, or they will find a way to financially punish you.

I will be sharing photos of the kitchen so everyone can see for themselves whether this is due to damage caused by a tenant or simply because the house is ancient and neglected beyond repair.
