Case management social workers chief of operations and director of nursing do not help patients at all! Jose case manager will tell you one thing and then change it to another to whatever benefits them. They will kick you out of this hospital even if you’re not ok. All they care about is money and not the patients well being. They have no empathy for patients. As long as the insurance is paying they will care for you but once they stop they treat the patients like trash. They will force you out whether you give your consent or not. They are the ones that make the decision for the patients and could care less about what the patient wants. If you have relatives that are being sent here or that are already admitted to this place be aware of all of this. They have given me so much stress my whole stay here. My hair is almost all gone from all the stress and anxiety they have given me. They have pressured me to leave knowing I’m not ok yet. But all they care about is raising their numbers and money! They don’t care for patients health at all!
Caring Staff, a place where emotions run high, they are very understanding.
If i could give a 0 i would My dad got here not even 24 hrs and passed away nobody realized untill wound care got to the room
I had a family member treated at Kindred La Mirada. It was a very difficult and open wound that needed wound care. In a month the nurses and wound care specialists had the wound healed. Kindred La Mirada also has excellent physical therapy and occupational therapy services. Both got my family member back up and walking after being unable to walk for 4 months. The case managers were also exceptional and went out of their way to see the patients needs met. I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs LTAC care.
