My boss mother has been here for short period of time and since there has FALLEN out the bed 2 times. She has dementia and no verbal. How is that? Like no one talks to one another or charts are not being read properly. Night shift is just that night shift that when we approached facility after 10pm staff in halls talking loudly patients doors closed(non verbal remember) what kind of care is that. Boss arrive at facility door closed to his mother room and she is on the floor again. Her limbs are swelling due to no moment from PT. DOA need to get involved with care of patients
My dad has been at this place for three days today. I toured this facility and was impressed with the inside. Today was a Saturday and you can tell that it was a very laid back vibe meaning we barely working today vibe. I was so disappointed that my dad had a nurse that did not step into his room one time while family was visiting. It was in poor taste to not even be greeted upon arrival. It was upsetting to be told that there was not a person of being in charge around to speak to to address my concerns. It is disappointing to walk in and not see someone at the front desk at all times. It’s upsetting to call and no one answers the phone.
It is difficult to find peace leaving your loved one in a facility and to come across this kind of culture at a facility.
I have to be honest that I did speak with a physical therapy staff member and he was nice and friendly and informative but that’s about all the best thing I can say for Saturday January 4th.
I left the facility feeling discouraged and wondering will my dad be okay and healthy at this place. My dad was sent her to heal and recover and I’m just not getting that this is the works for dad here. Sadly I am very unhappy with this facility right now.
I am hoping that management will speak to me and make corrections and do the right thing.
I am seeing other relatable reviews that I experienced today. Thursday and Friday were okay days but today just was awful to witness as a family member.
A facility can be nice but it is truly the staff that can make it ugly or a great experience.
Updated Review, so my dad is still here receiving care and I would like to say that the care has been great. My dad was moved to another part of the facility and it has been a good experience as far as skilled nursing facility goes. I have been working with an awesome social worker and the staff on the hall he is now seems so much more friendlier than what I experienced before.
My father Charles Helton was transferred to this facility from Baylor hospital. He was there to get Oxygen and Physical Therapy. He stayed over a few weeks. Kudos to the ADON Tonya, the Director of Nursing Georgette, Darius, the nurses and the aides. I want to give a special recognition to the Social Worker Amber for being so polite and kind and putting up w my father’s bad behavior, and all of our family. She was very informative and really explained the process of how Skilled Rehabilitation works. It was a very taxing process, but Amber communicated well. She is really good at her craft! Thanks Amber for being as kind as you were and always having a calm demeanor. Our family thanks you!
Nurses, Techs, Med Techs, and kitchen staff had compassion for the patients. Some employees you could tell it was just a job and there were others that were patient, loving, and caring. In this business employers must consider those they employ must have a passion and love for God’s people! The center was very clean and very attentive, every two hours,
