Before Orchid, my mother was at Sonoma for two years and Avalon for one year, but the level of care she receives at Orchid is unmatched. Not a good place for your loved one. I had to move my wife from this facility after only three months. Send me a direct message if you would like to have details, including videos and text dialogues between me and the facility owners. Please consider any facility other than this one.
Update: I see they have packed a bunch of 5 star reviews in to raise their rating. Some are from people that never had a loved on stay at Orchid, so their opinion would be invalid (IMHO) as it is based on looks only. Some refer to male residents. The Hartford location was female only.
My family was so happy to find Orchid House for our very elderly and ill father. Even though it was only a few weeks, everyone, especially Dee, treated him with the utmost respect and care as he lived out his final days. The home is clean, bright and well organized. The owners are there all the time also. I’ve already recommended this place to others to help their search for their own loved ones.
