Huntington Beach’s Premier Location for Short-Term Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care.
Patients extra extra beware If I could give this place a negative 10 I would. The neglect, pain and suffering my girlfriend went through at that hell hole is horrific. As family and friends we all took turns sleeping there 7 nights a week as they never changed her or fed her…Beware stay away from this place. They take their time giving out pain meds. And let my girlfriend suffer as she died slowly of cancer. Uncaring and unfriendly staff overall. And it smells like PEE. The 5 star reviews are fake!
The staff at sea cliff was great. All my grandmas needs where coved they had a team of physicians for every need that go above and beyond for each patient. There care was thorough and quality care. Amazing results. We are very pleased with there services
“It takes a village,” taking care of my sister who had a stroke that caused right side paralysis and speech impairment. I am so glad Sea Cliff HC Center is part of the village. As a health provider, I know the challenges from both sides. I worked with Maryanne, case manager, Lori, business office manager, and Ean, director of rehabilitation. They did not disappoint. They are very caring, efficient, friendly, kind, and professional. They helped find ways to relieve my sister’s financial burden and improved my sister’s care. In just few weeks, my sister was able to move her leg, move her arm, and say couple of words, thanks to Ean and the physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy team. Lastly, thank you to the nursing team and the nurse assist team. They find me most annoying, probably, because I am so proactive but they are also most helpful and caring. Thank you Sea Cliff HC staff! Happy New Year! Please wish my sister 99% better if not 100%.
Do not bring your loved one here especially if they are not able to speak or think clearly. The bare minimum seems to be the main standard of care here and even then it’s not met. Some staff strive to provide the best care (hence the 2nd star) but I would not recommend it. My loved one was constantly fed things that she cannot have due to dietary restrictions on top of what she is allergic to and sat in a dirty diaper for over 3 hours and the bed was wet as a result.
You as the caretaker or guardian would have to physically be there to make sure that your loved one gets cared for.
The line of communication between doctors and family members is non existent.
If your family member does not have a cellphone & you try to call the center? One of two things happens; you get the operator and they connect you to the nursing station but the nursing station does not pick up or you cannot even reach the operator.
So all this to say, I applaud the staff members who actually try to give the best care. But overall, DO NOT let the insurance place your loved one here or choose this place on your own.
My mom was transferred from a very nice SNF to Sea Cliff around two months ago, the previous SNF was changing their service, I was so hesitant and scared from this transfer due to the old reviews of this facility, but I was surprised when I got there and saw their rooms and beds! they were all clean and neat, and I was really impressed by their staff from admins to their nurses, and more from their CNAs. My mom and I are extremely happy with my mom’s CNA Fransisco, he is the best and we really appreciate his care and support for his patients. The admin staff are on top of the paperwork and the nursing staff are so compassionate and professional, I get calls all the time for any changes on my mom’s medications which I really appreciate it. The facility is big and has many beds and need more work but I think the owner or the management are working on improving this facility, today I noticed that they replaced the old door that opened to the courtyard with a brand new modern and functional door, thank you for doing that and I wish you provide couple more chairs to the courtyard and maybe in the big entry room where you have the christmas tree.
