We had the pleasure of working with Carrie Perry. We were referred to her by cold calling a senior living facility in New Braunfels. My husband and I were searching for a place ourselves for his father, who had lived in Beaumont for 58 years. We weren’t having any luck. After connecting with Carrie she provided us with several options in San Antonio that met the needs of my father in law. We all ultimately chose the same one and it couldn’t have worked out any better. Carrie is professional and kind and most importantly she listens to your needs. Rachel bent over backwards to help me find just the right home for my dad. There are so many different types of care facilities and companies out there, it can be mind-boggling. She asked lots of questions about his needs, history and state of mind to ensure she could find a good fit. When we weren’t quite ready to make a decision, she stepped back, then jumped right back in when I asked her to. I highly recommend Senior Living Specialists.
I wish there were more stars to award. There aren’t enough positive things I can say about Rachel. I live in NJ but had to take care of my sister in San Antonio as her health declined rapidly. Rachel was a rock star in helping me move my sister to a suitable assisted living facility and eventually to a much more suitable group home as she needed increasing levels of care. Way beyond logistics, Rachel provided both experienced, sound advice as well as emotional support for me as we negotiated this difficult transition. God blessed me in finding Rachel and God bless her for the help and care she provides.
I wish there was a way to give more than 5 stars. Rachel was absolutely phenomenal and a godsend for helping me through the process of finding a memory care unit. Not only did she communicate with them for me, she sent me a summarized list of facilities as well as set up interviews with the ones I selected. I truly don’t think I would have been able to do this without her.
