If I could give it less than one star I would. Today I spent about an hour visiting a fellow church member who is currently residing at Burleson Nursing and Rehab. (formerly known as Trinity Mission Health and Rehab). (Unfortunately, my friend was unable to communicate much.) I’m writing this review because I was appalled by the condition of his restroom. STOP reading now if you have a weak stomach: In the attached pictures you can zoom in and see dry feces on the toilet seat, and on the floor were bare footprints in what must have been, at one time, wet feces! Since there’s no shower in his restroom, it begs the question: what must the bottom of his feet look like?! I’m aware of several positive reviews of this nursing home so I pray this is not the norm. I just can’t help but wonder how long his restroom had been in this condition (since the feces was already dry) and how long before it was cleaned. I plan to visit him again tomorrow.
UPDATE: I went back to visit my friend today and his room was being cleaned. I asked how often they clean the rooms and she said once or twice a day. I told her that when I was there yesterday, his restroom was in BAD shape, and she said once it had been reported, she went and cleaned it.
My mom has been here since the end of October 2024. The people have been so caring & accommodating towards her. This is definitely one of the older nursing homes in Burleson with major updates needed. I feel this to be a safe place to meet her needs currently. Her room is kept very clean & tidy.
Nasty the cnas are overworked and underpaid the politics of the place are horrible the adon actually grabbed my mom and yelled at her like a child don’t let your loved one suffer here
This Place Is Terrible I Hate That My Mom Is In This Because It’s Unlivable It’s Stinks Like Urine And They Are Under Staff There Is Fly’s And It’s Unsanitary Can’t Tell When Was The Last Time They Mop And Sweep The Floors I Had To Ask For Them To Mop And Sweep My Mother’s Room. My Mom Clothes Be Dirty And Her Bed Too When I Come To Visit I End Up Changing Her Clothes And Her Bed And Comb Her Hair It Doesn’t Make Any Sense For Our Loved Ones To Live There Life Like This They Deserve To Be Cared For With Love And Compassion The Same Way You Would Want Someone To Care For You.
The facilty is seriously short staffed ask the nursing director that’s the one thing we did agree on. They said they filed a case of neglect with the state after my husband fell for the 4th time and was rushed to the hospital. I am hoping they really did but wouldn’t surprise at all if they didn’t. Nobody could tell us what happened and there was nothing in his charts. Walked in today and saw more neglect. Not enough staff to take proper care of the many patients in this facilty. Nobody takes responsibility. Grievances filed don’t mean a thing they are one sided. If you take the care of your patients seriously spend some of the money you get from them on staffing the facilty so they can be cared for properly.
Very disappointing.
