Sunrise at Canyon Crest in Riverside, CA, is a cottage-style community that promotes independence and provides residents with an engaging and comfortable setting.

My mother spent several years living here. They kept her safe during Covid, treated her with care and attended to her like she was part of the family. Thank you for all you do!
My mom is almost 101. She gets excellent care and understanding. The food is very good and my mom gained a healthy weight after being here for a year. She likes the caregivers and feels they are her family.
The activities at Sunrise are particularly well organized… My Mom is in memory care and honestly was never a big participator in activities but I think it really helps her to be included in what they do. Jakina, Crystal, and Jocelyn are so sweet and caring; always encouraging my Mom to do crafts with them, help with seasonal/holiday projects, dress up for birthdays/holidays, etc. They take the memory care residents out to different places for lunch on a regular basis and it undoubtably helps them to feel like they’re getting new experiences, which is important for their well-being. My fam and I are truly grateful that they take such great care to make sure the residents are mentally stimulated and getting much needed interaction and experiences beyond the basics!
The best assisted-living home ever. My family and I will always be grateful for the care, patience, and humor with which Sunrise’s nurses, caregivers, and administrators cared for my father in his last years.
Most insufficient place to trust with your loved ones. They appear to be understaffed having residents wait extended periods of time upon calling for services. Staff members lack proper training as they poorly care for the residents.
