  1. Me and my Father a newly amputee love Swan Lake rehab. We enjoy the people and staff working there. A good place for decent care and honest good old fashion courtesy everywhere you turn. Smiling loving people who really love to help you be your best. So many nice kind nurses and administrative staff that care. I am happy to see my decision to bring my father there for therapy. Also I can say the nice and wonderful kosher management watch and care about this place with the utmost clarity and devotional awareness and expertise. I come everyday to see my father and I can tell you Swan Lake rehab is working it. It isn’t,t state of the art but it is like clean and efficiently run. I commend the staff for their attention to detail and honest work ethic. To me Swan Lake rehab just simply rocks. The people are awesome. Hope my review helps keep you and your loved ones safe from harms way , and God Bless Swan Lake for their wonderful services.

  2. I was there from April 4-14th of 2023, and before someone says it’s been awhile for a review- yes I know! I’m still recovering but in a good state of mind to write reviews now.

This was my third rehab since October 2022, and every rehab has been a week stay until this one. I don’t remember much from these time periods but pictures show what state I was in upon entering and exiting. They accused me of having staff infection because of one of those pictures I was red in between my wound and the ostomy bag wafer. I stated it was because of the leakage coming out of the bag that made the acid red and irritate the skin.

Nurses were good overall but at the time I also wanted people to stop touching me and let me learn how to do it myself- I remember them yelling at me not to touch because they wanted to do it themselves but at this point I was fed up with the pain and nerves growing back that I could handle the pain I put myself through instead of someone not feeling what I was.

The food could have been better because the pizza pictured tasted frozen.

The last thing I’d like to state, is that I would not recommend this rehab facility. The doc I had was a joke, and the nurses for medical assistance were lost to what I needed. I was a prisoner to my own body, and my reaction to the life I was living, made the people around feel uneasy. They always thought I was having an anxiety attack, but in fact it was situational anxiety for what was going on.

Writing these reviews, to these rehab facilities would mean reliving what has happened in those time frames, that I wouldn’t or couldn’t at the time come to terms with. The best rehab and resources you’ll ever have, is in your home or a family’s home.

  3. For anyone dealing with the agonizing decision to place their loved one in a care facility for dementia, memory loss, or any other serious medical issue, I can understand your pain and worry when you have to choose a proper setting for your loved one
My loved one was a patient at Swan Lake for a year and a half in a serious state of mental and physical distress, I am happy to tell you he was recently able to return home and improved to the level of home care!
This was due to the loving, supportive, compassionate care he received at Swan Lake.
The nicest people and staff work here!
It certainly overrides any complaints about the physical condition of an aging facility
Many improvements are underway with a new and responsive management,
Rehabilitation, recreation, Social workers, nurses, aides, cleaning crews are all involved and responsive to the needs of the patient
I never had an issue that wasn’t listened to and resolved,
Even in the best of facilities the other advice I can give you is you as family must make an effort to visit as often as you can and if you have issues deal with them immediately
I wish you luck and love and support and I think you will find that at Swan Lake
