I was at bright point for a week and a half. I went there after having shoulder replacement surgery. This was one of my worst experiences ever with recovering from surgery. The staff at Brightpoint is horrible. They do not have enough employees to help patients during the day are night. They lie about giving you your meds. They lie to you about giving you a bath on your scheduled time the whole time I was there I had exactly one shower in a week and a half the wound care people that work. There are also just as bad I had stitches in my right arm That needed to come out after seven days and no one there would bother looking at them the wound on my shoulder was cleaned and pad replaced only one time in a week and a half as for as physical therapy they don’t have enough therapy. I did more sitting in a wheelchair Than I did doing. any kind of therapy the people there do not know what they are doing. They are second class staff people as far as nurses. It is not a place. I would recommend our ever go back to again if it was up to me, I would report them to the Medicare program to be shut down. That’s how bad they care at Bright point is you have to wait and wait for someone to come and get you out of bed, just expressing an opinion about this place. I would never go back there and I hope that whoever is reading this review will consider taking any family member to Brightpoint for any recovery because it sucks my daughter had to finally just come and get me and take me out against the staff because they wanted me to stay because of Medicare money. Please consider other options for your family members.
Recently, my mother had some unforeseen complications during a neck surgery. Because of this, she was unable to go home after the surgery and we had to find someplace for her to receive assistance until she could get back on her feet. The Brightpointe in Conroe, Texas is the facility that we chose and we couldn’t have been more happy. Everyone from the care team to the nurses to upper management was involved in making sure that my mother was taken care of at every turn. I would highly recommend this facility for anyone looking for a skilled nursing facility in the greater Houston/Conroe area.
