Do not take your loved one here. This place used to be Regency and all of the negative things written are true. My mother died of sepsis when she had been asking to go to the hospital all day. It was not until I arrived that evening that an ambulance was called. And the nurse wouldn’t listen to me at first. Once I found the nurse. When i had walked in she was texting on her phone in the hall but had disappeared. My mother passed the next day at noon in the hospital and had no blood pressure on arrival there. This is a serious issue and any health organization that does business with them should be punished.
I didn’t have the best experience with my mother at this facility. First off it is very outdated when it comes to the rooms. It’s like prison rooms for the dying. The initial check in process was horrible. I stood at the front desk area while the employees sat and chatted. Nobody asked can I help YOU? As they all saw me. I finally went to a worker and asked for assistance. They need to update and remodel the rooms patients have to live in ASAP. Nobody came to introduce themselves when my mother was transported to the facility. It was heart breaking enough I could no longer care for her but to not receive a warm welcome broke me down. The saving grace was the next day they got a t.v. put up for her to watch to make amends. There are a few caring nurses there that made it okay. My mother’s HOSPICE Care team who came out to service her is what made me feel at ease!!! I could not even find photos when I was first trying to view the place. That was a major red flag. They said they were a new company it use to be REGENT.
They do not deserve any stars. Good workers have all left. Pay cut and most of the time work a hall by themselves . They use an agency so loved ones have new help everyday that don’t know them or their needs. Carpets in the halls are nasty to even walk on. I have complained and no one gives a crap. Don’t bring loved ones here.
I have a family member here. I walked to the nursing station for a question, and there was an old woman nurse with glasses and a face mask who looked visibly stressed. She proceeded to take out her frustrations on me and tried to pawn me off to someone else for a simple question. Such lovely people you have working here! She needs therapy or heavy medication to keep her anger management issues in check! Will be looking elsewhere to take my mom! Unfortunately wasn’t able to get the nurses name, but look for the elderly angry nurse with glasses and I’m sure that’ll narrow it down. She might need a room there as well.
