Offering memory care and assisted living in La Quinta, California, The Palms at La Quinta Senior Living provides our residents a unique lifestyle that is coupled with exceptional, personalized and compassionate care.

My Aunt made the move to memory care at The Palms over one year ago and the caregiver support has been incredible. They have been very successful at engaging my Aunt in meaningful activities and providing her with nutritious meals around the clock. If you are looking for a high-quality memory care for your loved one, this is it.
After finding out my father needed memory care, I visited other memory care facilities and the don’t even come close to The Palms. The space is bright, cheery, clean and well-decorated. The staff are incredibly special people. They pay attention to what the residents need and are communicative. They are patient, caring and positive. From start to finish, the enrollment is easy and with empathy. I am grateful I have The Palms taking care of my dad since I cannot. I know he is in the best place for him and is well-cared for as well as building a new social network.
I just wanted to take a moment to recognise the Memory Care Team. I continue to be so grateful for the compassion and personalised care your team continues to demonstrate for my husband . I witness on a regular basis the staff interacting with him in a genuine way. I cannot express how much this means to me. The Memory Care team , continue to reinforce for me, that my most difficult and heart wrenching choice was well made.
A little over three years ago we were faced with trying to find a new home for the sweetest “little old lady from Pasadena”(That’s really where she’s from).
After taking a fall at 101 years old while out in her yard doing her day watering, this precious family/not family member, fresh off surgery to repair a broken hip, was faced with the reality of no longer being able to navigate the home she helped her husband build in 1949.
The Palms at La Quinta was our first, and as it turned out, only assisted living facility we visited. Almost the entire staff was different when we moved her in over 3 years ago, but to our great pleasure, the new editions have been just as, if not more amazing than the original team!
Roland, Jennee, Marisela, Lisa, Maria, Amber, and Amanda, just to name a few, are always pleasant, accessible, and above all are truly committed to providing the excellent care that residents of The Palms deserve.
The facility is well maintained, and there are many activities offered for the residents to enjoy. They do a great job celebrating holidays, as well as recognizing birthdays special occasions.
In fact, our loved one, who will be 105 in the fall, remarks several times a week how happy she is; how wonderful the staff is, and that we couldn’t have picked a better place for her. In retrospect, I could have started and ended this review with the previous sentence, because the sentiment it conveys truly sums up everything one can hope to find for a loved one’s next chapter.
My Mom just moved in this week, so I can only speak to pre-move-in and the first couple days:
The facility is clean, bright and always well-kept. We picked The Palms because, of all the facilities we toured, both the residents and the staff seemed happy and well, more so than the other places.
Rachel, Roland, Jennee, Amanda, Alva, Kelly, Jonathan and the whole team were extremely helpful in all ways as we prepared the unit for my mom as she finished off difficult stays in hospital and rehab prior to moving into The Palms. Rachel and Jennee in particular really helped me navigate those stressful and far-less-than-ideal situations.
Mom is now comfortable and pleased with her new home. The staff continues to be responsive, patient and caring as she begins to integrate into The Palms community. We’re really pleased with the choice we made.
