We moved in here in August 2021 and at that time things were pretty good. The amenities were overall one of our favorite things about living here; clubhouse was great, the pool was lovely and the gym was never packed and overall very nice. The grounds were also kept pretty well. We definitely noticed a decrease in organization with maintenance and management as time went on and they began to expand. The pool area is also not as nice anymore with the expansion; it used to feel like an oasis but not anymore now that it’s positioned between construction and apartment buildings.
One of our biggest complaints was maintenance- they acted like we were an inconvenience and didn’t want to actually fix anything, instead everything was a bandaid. There was zero communication with us, they wouldn’t tell us when they were coming; if they came, what the problem was, or when they fixed it so it was all just a guessing game. We had a couple issues that just never got fixed because maintenance never returned and we got tired of asking. When we first moved in, our apartment had a list of issues that needed to be fixed including an oven that did not even turn on. Another thing that came up multiple times with not having our garage attached to our unit, when the power goes out or a battery stops working we were unable to open the garage and get our car out. This happened quite a few times to us and made us late to work.
Parking was also always an issue here. It’s a free for all and people were very possessive of spots and often left their car in a prime spot for days on end. Definitely not enough parking because no one actually parks in their garages, so it was always an ongoing issue.
Our upstairs unit overall was very nice and spacious. We didn’t often hear our neighbors which was nice. We enjoyed living here but were glad to leave when we did as it didn’t seem like management, maintenance, or the amenities were going to be equipped to handle the expansion and overall the quaint charm and peacefulness that initially made us chose to live here seemed to be disappearing.
I’ve lived here since June 2024 and the complex is nice but I have not had a street sign for the road my apartment is located on for over 4 months and my address does not appear on Google maps so I have had significant difficulty with package deliveries. I have had many items returned to sender or delivered to random addresses, if at all. Even when I send my packages to the leasing office I have had items bounce back. Amazon and USPS are basically the only reliable deliveries I get. I have been told the street sign was “ordered” for about 2 months now with zero progress since I got here.
We have lived in Lexington Hills since April 2024 and are very happy in this quiet and safe neighborhood. The apartment is perfect for us and the pool and fitness center are great amenities for us to enjoy. Each unit comes with a garage which allows for extra parking and storage. The complimentary coffee bar in the clubhouse is a personal favorite. Jennifer and Pat run an efficient office and are helpful in any way needed. Parsaud and his maintenance staff are top notch and always there to answer any questions or address issues (we haven’t had many). We highly recommend Lexington Hills.
