The Rose Garden is a residential care facility for the elderly and disabled (Board & Care home) located in north San Jose.
My dad was asked to leave a large memory care facility because of behavioral issues. We moved my dad in and the staff here has been able to improve his behavior a lot. Facility is also always clean and smells very fresh. We are very happy we found Rose Garden!
The Rose Garden is a lovely elderly care home run by an amazing young woman named Ting, and her therapy-dog sidekick, Wolfie. The home is light and bright, with clean, comfortable rooms for the residents and lots of extra community space and amenities for family and other visitors. Though the actual home is great, it’s the wide range of care available that really impressed me – hospice care, dementia, cancer, and stroke care are offered. There is a generous ratio of caregivers to residents which is very attractive when looking for focused and personalized care for a loved one. If you are looking for this kind of care for your family member, you may want to check it out.
Rose Garden staff are excellent. Their focused and personalized care was beyond anything my loved one had experienced at any previous care community. Truly caring professionals.
Ting took very good care of my Father in Law. He was only there for a little less than a month before he passed, but she cares deeply about her residents and wants to do the best thing for them. After realizing that my Father in Law needed the 24 hour attention that we could no longer give him, I felt confident leaving him in her care. She has an adorable dog that my Father in Law loved. Miss you Ting and Wolfie!
I’m impressed after my tour of The Rose Garden. The facility did not feel like an industrial facility nor smelled like one. It was incredibly, clean, cozy, and fresh. There were flowers, plants, Himalayan salt lamps and art everywhere. All the furniture are new and all the rooms are immaculately clean. The administrator was kind and you can tell there was a lot of heart and soul that went into this home. Since this place had just opened, we saw only one resident at the time. The resident seemed well taken care of with one-on-one care. The environment and service that I saw is exactly what we’re looking for. When the time is right, I hope there is still a spot left for my parent. I am impressed!
