  1. This was the worst experience I ever had to go through. I had a grilled cheese sandwich for a meal with some kind of red collared liquid “juice”. The 4 person room was dirty with a small sink/bathroom if that’s what you could call it. I had a cell phone but there was no cell service… I could go on and on but I hope you get my experience. The living room was lovely, clean, fresh but go beyond and behind the curtain you’ll see a totally different environment it’s. a 00 for my rating.

  2. BEWARE!!! This establishment left our mother for dead. Mom is a fully independent, working woman who contracted bacterial pneumonia and was admitted and treated at Petaluma Valley Hospital for a week. During that week, a (benign) liver biopsy was performed. Mom was ready to be discharged, but still not quite strong enough to get up her steep flight of stairs at home, where the bathroom and bedroom are located, so we looked for a temporary facility, where she could get proper care and physical therapy for approximately two weeks. My sisters and I looked at all of the options in Petaluma and while our first choice in town did not have availability, we felt as though Vineyard Post Acute was the next suitable option, going against our better judgement as the reviews were consistently poor. Do not be fooled by the smiles by staff, renovations and cleanliness of this facility. I want to emphasize, this establishment had MANY poor reviews (recent), but since it seemed much cleaner and nicer than other facilities in town, we went in for a tour where we were assured mom would be in good hands. Mom was admitted to a room on the wing for acute patients (temporarily recovering from surgeries, etc). Little did we know, two days later, her biopsy would bleed internally. It was 3am and Mom was in excruciating pain. Her roommate was very concerned. They both used the call button for the nurse who came in but just looked at mom suffering…NO REACTION FROM THE NURSE FOR HOURS. NO VITALS WERE TAKEN. FAMILY WAS NOT CONTACTED. NO HELP WAS CALLED WHATSOEVER. Mom and her roommate became desperate and yelled and actually begged for an ambulance. THIS WENT ON from 3am-7am. Mom was on the verge of unconsciousness, but by some miracle was able to reach my sister by cell phone, who immediately dispatched an ambulance. Mom was taken to Petaluma Valley and spent the next two months fighting for her life. While Vineyard Post Acute let her suffer, she lost half her blood volume and was on the verge of death. I WANT TO EMPHASIZE that after mom was picked up by ambulance, no one from this facility ever, at any time, contacted anyone in our family to follow up in any way. Her bed was empty and no one cared to followup on her condition or what had happened to her. I tried contacting the Director of Marketing, Director of Nursing and Administrator for months, leaving messages and emails with no reply or explanation. Not even an acknowledgment. The level of accountability here is unprecedented. The California Health Department investigated and Vineyard Post Acute was in violation and was cited accordingly. BEWARE!!! PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE!!! Our loved ones deserve care from a facility who follows the law and genuinely cares for their patients. It is well worth traveling out of town for a better option!!!

  3. My nephew has been here for about 3 years. I/ we feel that he receives good quality Care here. The staff and CNA are always nice. They always Greet us with a smile, always pleasant ask us who we are seeing. When my Nephew needs help or assistance. They come to his bed site and help him with his needs, or give him his meds. When he comes down ill they assist medical care for him. They let us know in regards to his health if something changes like If they cannot help him with his medical care they send him over to the hospital were he could get his quality medical attention taking care of. They give quarterly phone meetings to his family in regards to his care in his daily/ weekly, in his daily health, in his medical update at the facility. What’s good for him and what’s not going well for him.My nephew has great roommate that gets along together.
